2. For gods sake can we sort out Falcons and ECM - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Euurgghh stop using that god damned phrase "perma-jam". There is no perma-jam ever, even if the sensor strength of the ECM module exceeds that of the ship (frigs only) theres a blanket chance it won't be jammed although more often than not it is (...

3. OK, what about Minmatar now? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
To be honest this whining is all reactionary because a few Amarr and Caldari ships who have long been in need of a boost got changed. There is no issue here and none of you are interested in balance, its just 'want want want' because 2 of the othe...

4. when do these torp changes go into effect? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Unless you really pimp your mission runner you are better off with cruise. With very high end torp fits I'd argue that they're better because cruisers are 1-2 volleys with a painter anyway. Don't forget your drones though, you shouldn't be shooti...

6. Eagle -- 5th Turret? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Originally by: Goumindong Stuff about bob... That's because they understand the fact that a Zealot/Muninn has no place sniping in a vast fleet because they are not sniping ships. They are versatile heavy assault cruisers that specialis...

7. Eagle -- 5th Turret? - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Originally by: Goumindong The rest of your arguement is based on a lie. The 5 turret eagle really would absolutly trounce these ships. We are talking no reason to fly, ever, over an eagle or some other ship in a different situation. No...

8. Arties need a change to make aplha strike usefull again - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Originally by: Ho Masubi Originally by: Oedus Caro Er, that will never happen. Lobbing shells, as you say, takes time, and should probably take more time than any other form of long-range gun (even today, railguns can achieve muzzl...

10. Dampening, deja vu. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Still some of you think I'm referring to the old 'chance based fit 4 multispecs on your Dominix' system. I'm not, I'm referring to the original ECM system that was in place 3 years ago.

11. Dampening, deja vu. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Originally by: Phrixus Zephyr Anyone claiming damps were as bad as ECM, clearly wasn't around for it. Erm, you put enough jammers on one ship until it was permanently jammed, only way to lose the jam was to warp out. Pretty much what d...

12. Dampening, deja vu. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Edited by: trouser boy on 27/08/2007 14:20:51 I tend to agree that painters could use some kind of imaginitive change. Thing is the Rapier and Huginn are insanely useful already. Gotta be careful not to turn them into something incredibly good...

13. Dampening, deja vu. - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Edited by: trouser boy on 27/08/2007 11:50:41 Dampening essentially operates in the same way as the old ECM system with subtle differences. I don't mean the chance based system I mean the system of exceeding an enemies sensor strength unti...

16. Deimos becomes sexy - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Edited by: trouser boy on 25/08/2007 12:42:33 Well Gallente (and to some extent minmatar) ships are designed to be good at close range small gang pvp. Unfortunately this is what 90% of pvp in Eve is. Comparisons on ship performance can really...

Edited by: trouser boy on 23/08/2007 11:54:41 7.5% damage bonus per level on the Eagle perhaps. edit: with other changes because it'd still be a poor ship. Drone bay, slight reduction in mass.
